Well, since the release of iOS 7 back in 2013, Apple has not made many major changes to the iOS 10 Control Center and it was almost same all the way. There were some additional things like night shift buttons and all, but that did not change the look or appearances of the control panel.
But with the release of iOS 10, Apple has brought a completely new look and feel to the Control Centre and we are really grateful that they have given it a thought. So, in this article we are going to bring you the complete details about the changes Apple has made for the Control Centre. Wanna have a look? Check these features below!
Redesigned Control Center – It’s bigger!
The Control Centre has got a redesign this time and it is bigger now. This is the first thing that you are going to notice. The buttons in the back have become bigger and the night shift button has been replaced by a row of its own. The music box has been taken out from the screen.
Redesigned Control Center – It’s more colorful!
While you tap on the toggles, you can feel how colorful it is; it changes color automatically and that looks really cool. They match the different icons of the settings screen. The Airplane mode is yellow, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turns dark blue and DND becomes purple and orientation lock is bright red in color.
Redesigned iOS 10 Control Center – Finally the 3d Touch Option!
The best part is you will be able to find the 3D touch button in the Control Centre, but the bad news is it is only limited to the four app related icons within the bottom of the screen. And the four apps are: calculator, flashlight, camera and timer. Although the rest of the apps are beyond 3D touch, we hope Apple does update the app count significantly.

Redesigned iOS 10 Control Center – And now it has the panes!
Well, you must be wondering where the audio playback box went away– all you need to do is just swipe left and that’s it, you will find the entire pane along with the dedicated audio playback. It looks really cool; the buttons are big enough to make it easy for you to reach and also the volume slider. All of them are crammed within one screen to make it handy and efficient.
Now you can control smart home devices from iOS 10 Control Center
This has solved the major issue of using a smartphone and not living a smart life! Now, all you need to do is just swipe from the lock screen and lights are off.
